In June, a Redmi phone with model number 22081212C was approved by China’s MIIT authority. Now, the same device has bagged approval from the 3C authority of the country. It can be said based on recent reports that the device may arrive in the Chinese market with the Redmi K50S Pro moniker.

The 3C certification of the Xiaomi phone with the 22081212C model number reveals that it may ship with an MDY 12-ED power adapter, which supports up to 120W fast charging. Hence, it appears that the retail package of the Redmi K50S Pro may include a 120W charger.
The rumor mill is yet to reveal the key specifications of the Redmi K50S Pro. It is expected to get rebranded as the Xiaomi 12T Pro. Reports have revealed that the 12T Pro will come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. The K50S Pro is likely to pack the same specs that will be available on the 12T Pro.

The Xiaomi 12T Pro is likely to feature a 120Hz OLED display. It is expected to arrive in two configurations: 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. It will come preinstalled with the Android 12 OS with MIUI 13 on top.
The device will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. However, the major highlight of the 12T Pro will be that it will arrive with a 200-megapixel main camera. The Redmi K50S Pro is likely to pack the same specs. Hence, it appears that the K50S Pro could be the first Redmi phone with a 200-megapixel camera.
The Xiaomi 12T, which is said to feature the Dimensity 8100 chipset, may get rebranded as the Redmi K50S in China.
