Realme is scheduled to announce the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition on July 12. The Chinese manufacturer announced the Realme GT Neo 3 earlier this year with 150W / 80W fast charging support. The GT Neo 3T / Q5i carries support for 80W fast charging. Apart from these devices, most of the other Realme flagship phones, including the GT 2 and GT 2 Pro, are equipped with support for 65W fast charging. The GT 2 Master Explorer will be Realme’s first smartphone to arrive with support for 100W charging.

The Realme GT 2 Master Explorer will arrive with a 5,000mAh battery. Despite housing a big battery, the device will only weigh 195 grams, claims the company. The device will ship with a 100W GaN (gallium nitride) charger, which not only promises faster charging but also generates less heat. According to Realme, the 100W GaN can completely charge the GT 2 Master Explorer Edition in just 25 minutes.

Realme is expected to arrive as the world’s first smartphone with the latest LPDDR5x RAM technology. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and arrive with dual vapor chamber liquid cooling technology for heat dissipation.

The device will arrive with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colors, and HDR10+ support. It will come with a 16-megapixel camera for shooting selfies. The rear-facing camera unit of the device will have a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel snapper.
