Honor launched the V7 series tablets last year and now the company is gearing up to launch new models of its budget tablet in its home market China, dubbed Honor Tablet 8.
In the latest development, the specifications of the upcoming Honor Tablet 8 have been leaked online, showcasing what to expect from the budget device.
The leak reveals that the tablet, which carries model number HEY-W09, will be an upgrade compared to the previous generation. It will feature a display offering a 2K screen resolution but the display size is not yet known.
Under the hood, the device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor but we will have a wait a few more days to know the memory versions. While the battery capacity is not known, it is said that the tablet will have 22.5W fast charging.
The company has not yet confirmed the launch date of this Honor Tablet 8 for the Chinese market but we expect the device to go official along with the Honor x40i smartphone and the Honor Smart Screen X3 series smart TVs later this month.
