Redmi K50i is confirmed to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8100 processor under the hood. The chipset was launched in March this year. It also outscored Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 on Geekbench. The Dimensity 8100 has four Cortex-A78 performance cores clocking at 2.85GHz and four Cortex-A55 efficiency cores.

As for the Redmi K50i, the smartphone is set to debut in India on July 20th. Recently, Xiaomi shared the AnTuTu score of the phone. It recorded 8,22,274 points and the score is higher than Snapdragon 888 and the A15 Bionic chipset. This suggests that the upcoming offering could be more powerful than the iPhone 13 and Snapdragon 888-powered phones. We can expect Xiaomi and Amazon to drop more teasers about the Redmi K50i in the days leading up to the launch event.

The Redmi K50i is expected to be rebranded version of the Redmi Note 11T Pro. It is expected to feature a 6.6-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The device will have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The smartphone is tipped to feature a triple rear camera setup of a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro unit. Internally, the Redmi K50i tipped to come in 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB RAM and storage configurations. Lastly, the smartphone is said to be offered in Phantom Blue, Stealth Black, and Quick Silver colours.
