Motorola is expected to announce its next-generation Razr clamshell and Motorola Edge X30 Pro later this month. The company is yet to confirm the launch date for both devices. However, at a press event in China, the General Manager of Lenovo China Mobile Phone Business Department, Chen Jin revealed the Razr 2022 to the media.
It appears that Chen Jin did not say anything about the specifications of the device. However, he showed the actual device to the audience. As it was revealed in a leaked video clip recently, the Razr 2022 has a punch-hole design for the display and a reduced chin.
The Motorola Razr 2019 and the Razr 5G that have launched in recent years have featured a display notch and a big chin. Both models have had one camera, but the next-generation model will have a horizontal camera module with two cameras. Here is the official teaser f the Razr 2022

The Motorola Razr 2022 will arrive with a 6.7-inch P-OLED foldable display that offers an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will come with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, up to 12 GB of RAM, and up to 512 GB of storage. While it is speculated to house a 2,800mAh battery, but Jin has denied this leak.

The Razr 2022’s rear shell will have a 3-inch secondary display. The back panel will have a 50-megapixel main camera and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The device will be equipped with a 32-megapixel camera for snapping selfies. It will come preinstalled with the Android 12 OS and MyUX. For security, it will have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
In Europe, it may carry a price tag of 1,149 euros. The device is expected to arrive in Quartz Black and Tranquil Blue colors.
