The Narzo 50 series by Realme contains a huge amount of devices: they are so many that it is impossible to include all of them in a single comparison. So we chose three of them, the oldest ones and the most similar to each other, in order to tell you the differences between their specifications. We excluded four models which we will maybe include in other comparisons. Here you can find a comparison between the specifications of the vanilla Realme Narzo 50, the Realme Narzo 50A, and the Realme Narzo 50i. Note that in the same series there are also the Realme Narzo 50 5G, the Realme Narzo 50A Prime, and the Realme Narzo 50i Prime, but they are totally different devices from the ones listed above.

Design

If you are looking for the most modern design, then you should opt for the vanilla Realme Narzo 50. It is the only one with a punch-hole display and the punch hole is placed in the upper left corner: the Realme Narzo 50A and the Realme Narzo 50i come with waterdrop notches and they are less impressive not only because of that but even because they are thicker phones. Further, you should note that the rear design of the vanilla version looks more attractive, with an original texture and a more minimalistic camera module including three sensors and a LED flash. But there is an important thing to say about the Realme Narzo 50i: it is splash resistant, even though it does not provide any IP certification.

Display

The most advanced phone in terms of the display is again the vanilla Realme Narzo 50. Its IPS LCD panel with a diagonal of 6.6 inches is able to show a higher level of detail because it supports the Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2412 pixels, while the two internal rivals have a lower HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. Further, the vanilla version has a higher 90 Hz refresh rate instead of a standard 60 Hz refresh rate. We are not talking about a high-end panel, it is still an affordable component, but it is similar to the ones found on several mid-rangers. In each case, the fingerprint reader is side-mounted on the power key, all of these phones feature mono speakers and they have 3.5 mm audio jacks.

Hardware/Software

The Realme Narzo 50 is the most powerful phone of the trio because it is powered by the Helio G96: an octa-core mobile platform by Mediatek built at 12 nm with a max frequency of 2.05 GHz, composed of two Cortex A76 CPUs, six Cortex A55 CPUs, and a Mali G57 MC2 GPU. The SoC is paired with up to 6 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage which you can furtherly expand through a micro SD dedicated slot. The silver medal goes to the Realme Narzo 50A with an octa-core Mediatek Helio G85 chipset running at 2 GHz, 4 GB of RAM, and up to 128 GB of storage.

Camera

The Realme Narzo 50 and the Realme Narzo 50A have the same cameras and they are way better than the Realme Narzo 50i. They sport a 50 MP main sensor and a pair of 2 MP cameras for macros and depth. The Narzo 50i has just one single 8 MP camera on the rear side and an inferior 5 MP selfie snapper, so it has no way to compete with its opponents. However, keep in mind that the other two are still entry-level camera phones, so you should not expect a high photo quality but just a sufficient one.

Battery

The Realme Narzo 50A wins the battery life comparison because it sports a huge battery with a capacity of 6000 mAh. The Realme Narzo 50 and the Realme Narzo 50i have just 5000 mAh, but the vanilla version is the only one with 33W fast charging as the 50A comes with 18W fast charging and the 50i does not support fast charging at all.

Realme Narzo 50 vs Realme Narzo 50A vs Realme Narzo 50i: Price
