Honor Pad 8, the company’s upcoming tablet, has been spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification site. As usual, the listing does not reveal any specifications of the tablet. However, it hints that the new tablet may soon make its debut. Honor Pad 8 is expected to be the successor of the Honor Pad 7 which was launched back in 2021 with a 10.1-inch Full HD display and Helio P22T chipset.

The Bluetooth SIG listing for Honor Pad 8 was first spotted by tipster Mukul Sharma. The listing shows that the Honor tablet has HEY-W09 as its model number. The listing also shows that Honor Pad 8 will get Bluetooth v5.1 connectivity. This is all the information we could get from the listing.

Previously, a tablet with the same model number also appeared Compulsory Certification of China (3C) website. The 3C listing suggested that the tablet will come with 22.5W fast charging.

On the software front, the tablet runs Android 10 operating system out-of-the-box with Magic UI 4.0 on top.

In terms of optics, the Honor Pad 7 houses a single 5-megapixel camera on the rear. While on the front, it has a 2-megapixel snapper for taking selfies and video calling. The device is fueled by a 5,100mAh battery. The tablet was launched at a starting price of 1,399 yuan (~$214).
