Nubia announced that it will be launching the Nubia Z40S Pro on the 20th of July at a launch conference at 02:00 PM Chinese time. With less than two days left in the launch, the tech market has been buzzing with inside information about the features of the brand’s flagship smartphone. Nubia released some intriguing information relating to another one of the device’s features.

Nubia Z40S Pro X-axis linear motion

The company revealed that the Z40S Pro will boast an X-axis linear motor with 1.18Grms steady-state vibration, a fully updated touch and 300+ rich vibration effects.

Nubia was undoubtedly inspired by photography with the Nubia Z40 Pro which was the first smartphone to offer a 35mm focal length, and this innovation was praised by the industry, the photography community, and users from all walks of life.

Nubia Z40S Pro BackBut this time the brand has decided to go beyond its previous limitations with the Nubia Z40S Pro as its performance and product aesthetics would be the highlights of the device in addition to its further advancement in humanistic photography. The Nubia Z40S Pro will establish the new standard for straight-screen flagships with ultra-thin bezels.

The device will get an upgrade from Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset in Z40 Pro to Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset which was previously reported but has now been made official by the brand.

When it comes to optics, the Nubia Z40S Pro comes with a full-focus imaging system that includes 35mm custom optics, 2cm high-definition macro, wide-angle, humanistic, and periscope telephoto coverage, with a classic red circle lens design, 4K 120fps video recording, and 3D Lut custom filters.

In terms of display, the Nubia Z40S Pro has a 6.67-inch OLED flexible straight screen, a 144Hz refresh rate, a centered punch-hole design, a 0.95mm narrow border, and a 94.8 percent screen ratio.

Additionally, the device sports a ten-layer cold-sealing cooling system and is equipped with aerospace-grade cooling materials.
