The rumor mill is gradually spilling more information about the Samsung Galaxy S23 series of flagship phones, which are expected to launch in Q1 2023. Leaked information that surfaced last month revealed that the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ will come with the same telephoto camera that was made available on the Galaxy S22 lineup. Now, a new report by GalaxyClub.nl has revealed the details of the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s telephoto camera.

According to the publication, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will feature a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom. It indicates that the publication is talking about the periscope telephoto camera of the S23 Ultra. It appears that the S23 Ultra will feature the same periscope zoom camera that was made available on the Galaxy S21 Ultra and the Galaxy S22 Ultra.

Previous reports have revealed that the Galaxy S23 Ultra will be Samsung’s first smartphone with a 200-megapixel ISOCELL HP3 sensor. It is speculated that the S23 Ultra may inherit the 40-megapixel front-facing camera, which was made available on the Galaxy S22 Ultra. The S23 and S23+ are rumored to feature a 12-megapixel selfie camera.

At present, there is no word on the ultra-wide and the second telephoto cameras of the S23 Ultra. The Ultra model, S23+, and S23 will come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform. A recent report revealed that Samsung will not be releasing Exynos chipset variants of the S23 trio.

At present, the South Korean company is focused on its next Unpacked event, which will take place on Aug. 10.  The event will see the arrival of multiple devices, such as the Galaxy Z Fold 4, the Galaxy Z Flip 4, the Galaxy Watch 5 series, and the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro.
