The Google Pixel 6a has gone through the paces of DxOMark’s display and camera tests and it came out strongly. The mid-ranger has started shipping and the test results indicate that the Pixel 6a can deliver a great camera and display quality. The Google Pixel 6a, according to the DxOMark’s analysis offers a class-leading display with its 1,080 pixels resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. The smartphone’s camera also squares up nicely with the Pixel 6, although slightly lower than the Pixel 6. The overall camera rating for the Pixel 6a was 130 points, placing it in the 21st position on the website. As per its camera system, the Pixel 6a is at par with the iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPhone 13, and the iPhone 13 mini. It is noted that the three models have essentially the same camera sensor. In fact, the assessment of the Pixel 6a’s camera shows that they are only less powerful than that of the Pixel 6 within the $400 and $600 price bands.pixel 6a

The Pixel 6a, however, had an underwhelming performance for its front camera, ranking 49th with a score of 86 points. The selfie camera of the Pixel 6a was on the same footing as that of the OnePlus 7 Pro. The display tests revealed a score of 86 for the Pixel 6a. This resulted in a Silver Display award although mention was made of its low 60Hz refresh rate. The OLED display provided a decent color output and solid readability under extreme conditions. However, the Pixel 6a’s display performed poorly in bright sunlight.

The general summary of the tests indicates that the Pixel 6a might be just a whit behind its bigger cousin, the Pixel 6. This is remarkable when the price differential between the two models is thrown into the mix.
