Last month, Google launched the Pixel 6a smartphone in India, making it the only Pixel 6 series device to debut in the country. Now, the Pixel 6a has started receiving the Android 13 update in India, along with the Pixel 4a, an older model officially launched in the country.

The update OTA should be popping up on most of the Indian Pixel 6a and Pixel 4a users in the coming days. You can also check for the update manually by navigating to the Settings menu on the Pixel 6a or Pixel 4a, and the latest version of Android should show up in the Software Update section.
The update size varies based on the device. The Pixel 4a update is only 855MB, whereas the Pixel 6a update is 1.06GB. It is recommended to backup all your data before attempting to update your smartphone.
However, considering how buggy the initial rollout of Android 13 on the Pixel 6 series has been so far, it would be better to wait for Google to roll out an iterative version of Android 13 that fixes all of the initial buds and glitches.
