With the Android 13 recently being officially announced, the Google Pixel series were some of the first smartphones to receive the new major update. But it appears that the upgrade broke a major feature for some Pixel owners.

According to a 9To5Google report, owners of Pixel series smartphones have took to Reddit to share their complains regarding the new major Android 13 OS update. Apparently, for some the wireless charging feature has stopped functioning as intended with the new update. For those unaware, wireless charging has been a standard feature on Pixel smartphones since the Pixel 3 series. And now, reports have surfaced regarding the feature breaking for models from Pixel 3 to even the latest Pixel 6 series as well.

Despite the issue affection multiple Pixel generations, the report found that a majority of the complains were from the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL model users. The Reddit users have also claimed that the issue affects their device regardless of the different chargers they use. Although, there have been some workarounds to fixing this issue, with one user claiming that rebooting into safe mode then rebooting again usually fixed this issue. Although, some others said that this did not work for them.
