Motorola will unveil the Razr 2022 tomorrow along with the Moto X30 Pro and S30 Pro flagship phones in China. Before the launch, the company has now revealed the starting price of the Razr 2022.
The Lenovo-owned brand has confirmed that the Moto Razr 2022 will start at 5,999 Yuan (~$887). The TENAA listing of the device has revealed that the device will come with 8 GB / 12 GB / 18 GB of RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB / 512 GB of storage. Hence, it appears that the 5,999 Yuan price tag may belong to the 8GB+128GB edition of the Razr 2022.

The Razr 2022 will be a major rival to the Galaxy Z Flip 4, which will globally debut today. Samsung’s clamshell device is also expected to be released in China. Last year, the Z Flip 3 was made available with a starting price of 7,599 Yuan (~$1,124). With improved specs, the Z Flip 4 could start at 7,999 yuan ($1,183) in China. Hence, it appears that the Razr 2022 will carry a significantly lower price as compared to the Z Flip 4.
The reservation listing of the Razr 2022 available on JD.com has revealed almost everything on its specifications and features. The Razr 2022 will come with a 6.7-inch foldable OLED display that will support Full HD+ resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+. The device’s back will feature a 2.7-inch OLED cover display.
The Razr 2022 will have a 32-megapixel front camera. Its back panel has a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide snapper. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 power device will run on Android 12 OS and My UI 4.0, which will tag along with the Ready For 3.5 PC connectivity feature. Previous reports have claimed that it will house a 3,500mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. It features a side-facing fingerprint scanner.
