Ahead of its launch on August 11, Motorola has started accepting reservations for the Moto Razr 2022 in China. The launch event relates to its China launch. Details are lacking at this time on the company’s global plans for the Razr 2022. Possible early recipients of the foldable smartphone can now make reservations for the device.
The Moto Razr 2022 comes with some design improvements from its predecessor. It sports a new hinge mechanism that makes it possible to completely fold the device flat. This makes the Razr 2022 to be more compact. We also know that the smartphone’s screen comes with a new 6-layer protective structure. This means that the device has an improved durability rating as per its screen.
The Moto Razr 2022 will be available in three RAM/ storage configurations. These are 8GB/ 128GB, 8GB/ 256GB, and 12GB/ 512GB. The latest official poster of the Razr 2022 displayed various screen modes including multi-tasking, surround, and tripod modes. The multitasking mode allows two apps to run simultaneously with their operational screens at each half of the phone’s display. The surround mode displays notifications at a glance, while the tripod mode is used to take pictures or videos by placing the phone on a surface or a stand.
Reservations for the Moto Razr 2022 can be made on JD.com. There are no indications yet whether or when the Moto Razr will become available globally. The optics will probably become visible after the official launch of the Moto Razr 2022 in China on August 11.
