Ahead of its unveiling in India, Realme has provided more details of the 5G variant of the Realme 9i. The Realme 9i 5G will launch on August 18 and the smartphone will be powered by the Dimensity 810 chipset. The 9i 5G is being marketed as the 5G Rockstar, as an official poster containing its specs sheet reveals.
The Realme 9i was launched back in January 2022 and it was equipped with the Snapdragon 680 chipset. The 9i 5G is certainly an improved version of the base model and it has 5G network capability. It also has a triple camera setup at the back and a laser light design. Unlike the previous model, the 9i 5G’s rear cameras do not sit on a camera island. There is a power button on the right side of the smartphone. Realme has also incorporated a fingerprint scanner into the power button for added security.
