Xiaomi is gearing up to launch a new entry-level smartphone in multiple markets. Noted tipster Kacper Skrzypek has spotted the upcoming Xiaomi smartphone with model number 220733SL.

The device was also spotted on multiple databases like IMEI, FCC, TUV Rheinland, and Geekbench 5 revealing that the device will be called the Redmi A1. It will have a 220733SL model number in Europe, 220733SG in the global market, and 220733SI in the Indian market. The device has also surfaced with a 220733SPI model number on BIS hinting that it will also be sold by POCO as a rebranded device in India. Let’s take a look at its specifications.

Redmi A1 Geekbanch

Looking at the Geekbench data, the smartphone comes with a quad-core processor with all four cores clocked at 2GHz. The motherboard of the device has the codename ‘ice’. Based on this information, this is likely the aging MediaTek Helio A22 chipset.

The listing shows that the device has 3GB of RAM and an Android 12-based operating system. In the Geekbench 5 benchmark, the device manages a single core score of 141 points and a multi-core score of 497 points.

Other information available on the device comes from the FCC listing which reveals that the device measures 164.67mm in length and 76.56mm wide.
