In April, Huawei unveiled the Huawei Mate Xs 2 foldable phone. Now, the brand is reportedly working on its sixth foldable phone, the Mate X3. A Chinese tipster has shared key details on the company’s upcoming foldable phone along with its launch timeframe.

According to the tipster, Huawei is planning to launch two devices in December 2022. These include the Huawei Mate X3 foldable phone and the Freebuds 5 semi-in-ear headphones.

The tipster claimed that the Huawei Mate X3 would carry a lower price tag. At the same time, it will be a lightweight and thinner device. It will offer better durability as well as drop resistance. The foldable phone will be equipped with a new hinge, and the screen crease will not be visible.

So, does it support 5G? Unfortunately, the Mate X3 will be a 4G device. The specifications of the device are under wraps. The same tipster had claimed in June that the Mate X3’s would continue to sport an inward-folding design like the Mate X2.
