Huawei could launch several new product in November, even though the company just recently announced the Enjoy 100 series and Pura 90 Plus. According to tipster Smart Pikachu, the Mate X8 foldable is among the upcoming devices, and the leak sheds light on its chipset and camera hardware.

Huawei Mate X8 could get Kirin 9050 Pro

The Mate X8 is tipped to arrive as an 8-inch foldable powered by the Kirin 9050 Pro. We have the same chip in the Mate 90 Pro Max and Mate 90 RS.

The Mate X8 is also tipped to feature a 50MP main camera with ultra-high dynamic range, alongside a 50MP RYYB periscope telephoto camera and a red maple leaf original-color lens. The tipster also mentions telephoto macro photography and slow-motion recording support.

Other parts of the phone have surfaced in earlier leaks. A previous report hints at a 6.5-inch cover display, an 8.15-inch inner screen, and a battery with a capacity exceeding 6,000mAh. The latest tip doesn’t mention these specifications, so they remain unconfirmed.

MatePad Mini 2 and other products may follow

The Mate X8 isn’t the only device Smart Pikachu mentions. Huawei is also reportedly preparing a second-generation MatePad Mini with 5G connectivity and a high-refresh-rate display.

The original MatePad Mini arrived in September 2025 with an 8.8-inch display and support for cellular calls and mobile data. The tipster hasn’t shared the new tablet’s screen size, chipset or expected price, leaving much of its hardware a mystery for now.

Huawei Mate X8 Leak

Huawei is also said to have a foldable PC and a new pair of headphones in the works. Neither product has been identified by name, and there are no details about their specifications or whether they’ll debut alongside the Mate X8.

The tipster says Huawei still has several flagship and collector’s edition products planned for November. The company hasn’t announced launch dates or prices for any of the rumored devices.

Last year’s Mate X7 debuted on November 26, so a similar launch window for the Mate X8 is possible. However, Huawei has yet to confirm its plans.
