Lenovo has finally launched the Legion VR700 headset in China with a starting price tag of 2,999 yuan (~$440). The price will increase to 3299 yuan (~$484) after the initial sales. The VR headset was first announced a few weeks back.Lenovo Legion VR700 Headset

The Lenovo Legion VR700 headset is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 chipset paired with 8GB RAM while there is 256GB storage onboard. The VR700 is equipped with a fast-response LCD screen with a resolution of up to 3664 x 1920 pixels with support for 72/90Hz refresh rate.

The headsets have a similar Y design to the Lenovo Rescuer series, however, they perform better. Additionally, the device’s video bandwidth has significantly increased. It has an 11-fold increase in AI performance speed and a 10-fold increase in resolution.Lenovo Legion VR700 Headset

The 4K RealRGB display on the Legion VR700 has a quick brush response. VR700 adopts a complete 6DoF design to achieve millimeter-level positioning accuracy, millisecond-level initialization speed, and millisecond-level delay speed to accurately identify body movements. In terms of design, the VR700 adopts a hat-wearing design, and the front and rear weights are carefully optimized. Lenovo say that there will be no obvious drag when worn for a long time.
