Earlier today (19th August 2022), the Motorola Edge (2022) had been announced as an upper mid range smartphone in the US market. Now, T-Mobile is offering the new device for free as a part of a new promotional deal in the region. So let’s have a look.
Talking about the smartphone itself first, it is the latest handset model from the company and is also the first in the world to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 1050 SoC. On the front, the Edge (2022) sports a 6.6 inch OLED display that has a Full HD+ resolution, HDR10+ support, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a 32 megapixel selfie camera. Meanwhile, the rear packs a triple camera setup that consists of a 50 megapixel primary sensor, a 13 megapixel ultra wide angle lens, and a 2 megapixel depth shooter.
The smartphone is powered by a large 5,000mAh battery that supports 30W TurboPower charging as well as 15W wireless charging. Other features including, dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, USB Type C port, Bluetooth 5.2, in display fingerprint scanner, and NFC. Now, T-Mobile has announced that both its new and existing customers will be able to get the new Moto smartphone for free when adding a qualifying line, which is detailed on its official website.
