OPPO Band 2 could be making its debut in the global market soon. The details are yet to be officially announced by the company, but the fitness band has been spotted on the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) certification site, hinting that its global launch might be around the corner. OPPO Band 2 has already been unveiled in China. It has a 1.57-inch AMOLED display and offers various health monitoring features.

Popular tipster Mukul Sharma has spotted the OPPO Band 2 on the IMDA website with model number OBBE215. As usual, the listing did not reveal any details about the smart band. However, it hints at an imminent launch.

The OPPO Band 2 was unveiled in China last week, alongside OPPO Watch 3 series, with a price tag of 249 Yuan (roughly $36) for the standard edition. The NFC variant costs 299 Yuan (roughly $44). It comes in Black and White color options.

OPPO Band 2 Specifications

The OPPO Band 2 features a 1.57-inch AMOLED display which is almost the same size as most smartwatches. It measures 45.3 x 29.1 x 10.6mm and weighs only 33 g. The design has changed a lot, the band comes in a squircle shape.

OPPO Band 2 is powered by Apollo 3.5 processor coupled with 8MB PSRRAM and 128MB Nand storage. It packs a built-in 200mAh battery that can last up to 14 days. Moreover, the band supports magnetic fast charging. The new OPPO band comes with 24*7 heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, and more. It is also claimed to be 5ATM waterproof. For connectivity, it has Bluetooth v5.0.

Oppo has also pre-installed over 200 watch faces, and 100 sports modes and has also included an NFC chip in the Band 2 for contactless payments.
