A few weeks ago, OPPO had announced its latest smartwatch lineup in the form of OPPO Watch 3 series. As the name indicates, the wearable device is a successor to the Watch 2 lineup launched by the company last year.

Today, the company has officially started selling the OPPO Watch 3 series smartwatches in the Chinese market. OPPO is also offering a 100 yuan discount for those who purchase the product in the first sale.

The OPPO Watch 3 is priced at 1,599 yuan (~$235), while the model with leather strap costs 1,699 yuan (~$250). On the other hand, the Pro model is priced at 1,999 yuan (~$294), and the leather strap version is priced at 2,099 yuan (~$308).

Coming to the specifications, the OPPO Watch 3 lineup comes with a square dial, just like its predecessors. The Watch 3 feature a 1.75-inch AMOLED screen with a screen resolution of 430 x 372 pixels, while the Watch 3 Pro has a larger 1.91-inch LTPO curved OLED display with a screen resolution of 496 x 378 pixels.

Under the hood, both the devices come powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 chipset coupled with 1GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. There’s also the company’s own Apollo 4 Plus chip.

It comes with support for LTE connectivity, Bluetooth 5.0, GNSS, and NFC for payments, passes, and car keys, among others. The devices are rated 5ATM for water resistant and feature all the essential sensors, like an accelerometer, gyroscope, compass, optical heart rate sensor, SpO2 sensor, ambient light sensor, and altimeter. Additionally, the OPPO Watch 3 Pro model also comes with an ECG sensor.

In the software department, the smartwatch runs the ColorOS Watch 5.0 out-of-the-box. The Watch 3 is powered by a 400mAh battery and is said to offer four days of battery life, while the Pro model is powered by a 550mAh battery, with the company promising five days of usage on a single charge.
