Last week, a new entry-level smartphone by Redmi was spotted on multiple certification sites and Geekbench. It was also rumored to be rebranded as a POCO smartphone in India. Now, a variant of the device has been spotted on the IMEI database.

This variant is called the Redmi A1+ and has the model number 220733SFG. Tipster Simarpal Singh has revealed that this is a model equipped with a fingerprint reader. Other than the inclusion of a fingerprint sensor, other specs of the Redmi A1+ are expected to be the same as the upcoming Redmi A1. So let’s take a look at the specifications of the Redmi A1 to get an idea of what to expect from the Redmi A1+.
Redmi A1 specifications
So far, the various listings have revealed that the Remi A1 will come with a MediaTek Helio A22 chipset. This is quite an old chipset that has a quad-core processor with all four cores clocked at 2GHz.
The chipset will be complemented by 3GB of RAM. As for the operating system, the device will run Android 12 out of the box. Other than that, the Redmi A1 will offer connectivity options in the form of LTE, 2.4GHz WiFi, and Bluetooth 5.0. The device measures 164.67mm in length and is 76.56mm wide.
The A1+ will likely come with the same specs with a fingerprint sensor added to either the back of the power button. No other information is available on the device as of yet. So, stay tuned for future updates.
