At the 2022 Google I/O event, the search giant gave us a sneak peek at the upcoming Google Pixel 7 series. The teaser only revealed the design of the smartphone and nothing else. It is expected to make its debut later this year (around October).

Google Pixel 7 Series

The Pixel 7 series is expected to come with at least two devices. These will likely be the vanilla Pixel 7 and the Pixel 7 Pro. Months ahead of the expected launch, the Pixel 7 series has been spotted on the REL Canada certification website. The listing discloses the two phones’ model numbers and verifies their official names.

According to the listing, the Pixel 7 has the model numbers GQML3 and GVU6C. The Pixel 7 Pro, on the other hand, has the model number GE2AE and GP4BC. The listing does not confirm any other details, so let’s take at the information available so far.

Google Pixel 7 Series Flagship Smartphones

we currently know that the Pixel 7 series will feature a nearly identical design to the Pixel 6 series. The Pixel 7 will have a dual-camera arrangement, while the Pixel 7 Pro will have a triple-camera setup. The phones are anticipated to have a 50MP main camera (Samsung GN1) and a 13MP ultrawide camera (Sony IMX38). A 48MP telephoto camera (Samsung GM1) will also be included with the 7 Pro. As for the front camera, it is expected to be a 10.87MP (Samsung 3J1) sensor on both models.

While the standard Pixel 7 will have a 6.4-inch 90Hz screen, the Pixel 7 Pro is said to have a 6.7-inch 120Hz OLED display. The newest Google Tensor processor, which will be unveiled soon, will also be included in the two phones. As for the operating system, we can expect both the devices to debut with the latest Android 13.
