On Aug. 17, Infinix unveiled the Infinix Hot 12 handset in India. Today, the company will be carrying out the first sale of the device in the country. It will be available for purchase through Flipkart. Here is all the information on the price, launch offers, and specifications of the Hot 12.

The Infinix Hot 12 comes in a single model that offers 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. It is priced at Rs 9,499 (~$119) in India. Some of the launch offers mentioned in the device’s Flipkart listing include 10 percent (up to Rs 750) off on SBI Credit Cards, 5 percent cashback on Flipkart Axis Bank cards, debit card EMI, and an exchange bonus of up to Rs 8,750 (~$110). The Hot 12 comes in four colors, such as 7″ Purple, Exploratory Blue, Polar Black, and Turquoise Cyan.

The first sale of the Hot 12 will be carried at 12 pm (local time) today (Aug. 23) on Flipkart.

The Infinix Hot 12 has a massive 6.82-inch LCD screen that offers an HD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, a 1500:1 contrast ratio, and a peak brightness of 460 nits. The device boots to XOS 10 based Android 11 OS. For security, it offers features like a rear-facing fingerprint scanner and face unlock.

The Hot 12 draws power from the MediaTek Helio G37 chipset and 4 GB of RAM. The device offers 64 GB of built-in storage and a microSD card slot for additional storage. It has a 6,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.

The 8-megapixel camera available on the device’s front is coupled with dual LED flashlights. Its back panel has a 50-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, an AI lens, and a quad-LED flash. The device packs the usual connectivity features like dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
