The Xiaomi 13 series is believed to be the next flagship from Xiaomi. While the lineup may include multiple models, the company is likely to announce the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro in November 2021. Tipster Digital Chat Station has been consistently leaking information about the Xiaomi 13 series. A new leak by him reveals the display resolution of the Xiaomi 13.

The Xiaomi 12, which debuted in December 2021, is a compact flagship phone featuring a 6.28-inch AMOLED display with curved edges. It carries support for a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Rumors surrounding the Xiaomi 13 have claimed that it will continue to be a compact flagship featuring a slightly bigger display. The Xiaomi 13 is expected to feature a 6.36-inch OLED display with ultra-narrow bezels. The machine translation of DCS’ new leak states that it will be a “straight screen.” As mentioned above, the Xiaomi 12 featured a smaller display with curved edges. Hence, there is a possibility that the Xiaomi 13 Pro’s screen will have curved edges.

The tipster further claimed that the technical data of the engineering prototype of the Xiaomi 13 reveals that it supports a Full HD+ resolution. He went on to say that the phone may support 1K or 1.5K resolution. The Redmi K50 Ultra, which debuted in August in China, carries support for a 1.5K resolution of 1220 x 2712 pixels. The vanilla 13’s screen may support the same resolution.

The Xiaomi 13 will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. It is expected to feature a 50-megapixel + 50-megapixel dual camera setup on the back. There is no information on the Xiaomi 13’s battery capacity. However, reports have claimed that the device will have a single-cell battery with 100W rapid charging and 50W wireless charging.
