Tecno has been teasing the Camon 19 Pro Mondrian Edition phone in India. The company has confirmed that it will announce the smartphone on Sept. 15. Here is a look at what to expect from the handset.

The Tecno Camon 19 Pro Mondrian Edition is the same Camon 19 Pro 4G phone with a unique color-changing rear shell. What’s exciting about it is that the rectangular blocks on the phone’s back can display different colors under sunlight.

The Camon 19 Pro Mondrian Edition has a 6.8-inch IPS LCD display that offers a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by the Helio G96 chipset and 8 GB of RAM. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.

The Camon 19 Pro Mondrian Edition has a 32-megapixel front camera. Its back panel has an OIS-assisted 64-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel portrait lens, and a 2-megapixel depth-sensing unit.

The device runs on Android 12 OS, which is overlaid with HiOS 8.6. For security, it is equipped with a side-facing fingerprint scanner. There is a microSD card slot onboard for more storage. Tor audiophiles, the device is equipped with DTS Audio stereo speakers.

A recent report claimed that the device could be priced under Rs 20,000 (~$251) in India. Apart from Tecno’s online store, it will be available for purchase through Amazon India. Apart from the Camon 19 Pro Mondrian Edition, the lineup also includes other models, such as the Camon 19, Camon 19 Neo, and Camon 19 Pro 5G which have already been launched in India.
