Samsung is gearing up to roll out the One UI 5.0 build very soon, which is based on the latest version of Android OS. But prior to the final build’s release, the company has announced that it will be rolling out the One UI 5.0 Beta for Galaxy S21 series in India.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus Display Featured

The South Korean tech giant has just released the public beta for the One UI 5.0 build for the Galaxy S21 series of premium smartphones. So owners of these devices in India are eligible to take part in the beta program. For those unaware, the last gen flagship phones include the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra. So for those looking to experience Android 13 OS as soon as possible, the brand has began registration for the One UI 5.0 beta update by signing up for the program on the Samsung Members app.

Once the registration is complete, Galaxy S21 series users in India will receive the new One UI update notification soon after. Keep in mind that the beta update might also cause some applications to not function properly. So, it is also advised that you backup your smartphone’s data before making the update. With the new upgrade, Samsung has offered minor changes while introducing new One UI features in the new update.

Samsung Galaxy S21 5G series

These changes includes a new system UI color based on the wallpaper. Furthermore, the notifications shade is also revamped and is now more opaque too. Samsung has also introduced Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to the Gallery app, which can recognize text in images. This allows users to copy and paste it into other apps.
