Logitech has announced a new key light that could pass as a regular desk lamp. The Logitech Litra Beam uses a long, thin design, unlike previous models which were circular or square. The new light was announced together with the Logitech Blue Sona XLR microphone.
The Litra Beam could be a great accessory for streaming, podcasting or even making video calls. It can securely sit atop the laptop and thus does not need extra space in the room for its placement. It will keep the environment fully illuminated when streaming or doing other activities. It can also be pointed down at a desk like a desk lamp. The Litra Beam has controls for regulating brightness and color temperature. The color temperature of the new key light is between 2700K and 6500K. The Logitech G Hub app can also be used to modulate the color temperature.
The Logitech Litra Beam lacks a battery so it is always connected to the PC via USB when operational. The device can also be connected via Bluetooth. The Logitech Litra Beam is priced at $99.99 and is now available in the US and Canada. Select European markets are also selling the Litra Beam.
The Blue Sona XLR mic comes with a supercardioid pickup pattern. Optimal sound is achieved with the mic placed 10cm from the mouth for optimal performance. The mic can be easily attached to the PC thanks to its sturdy base. The Logitech Blue Sona is priced at 349.99 and is available in selected markets.
