Google Pixel Watch has been officially teased. The search giant shared a short video of its first-ever smartwatch on its official YouTube and Twitter handles. It gives us a better look at the upcoming wearable device from all angles. The Google Pixel Watch is set to debut alongside the Pixel 7 series at the ‘Made by Google’ event on October 6th

It was long rumoured that Google’s first ever smartwatch will feature a circular dial. This was confirmed at I/O 2022 as well as in the latest teaser video. The latter also reveals the design and circular elements of the smartwatch. The display is seen with curved edges, however, it remains unclear how big the circular bezel is going to be since Google has only shown Black watch faces.

As per the video, the Google Pixel Watch features a minimalistic design. There is a traditional crown-like button on the right side that could work similarly to Apple Watch’s digital crown. There is also a physical button above the crown and a small cutout below it. Additionally, the teaser shows a proprietary strap attachment system from Google. The wearable device is seen in Mint Green, Grey, and Black colours.

Apart from this, the teaser video does not reveal anything more about the Pixel Watch. At I/O 2022, Google revealed that its first-ever smartwatch will run on WearOS and come with features like Google Assistant, controlling Nest home devices, built-in GPS, the ability to send messages and NFC support. The wearable device is also confirmed to be equipped with a continuous heart rate sensor and sleep monitor along with fitness tracking and active zone minutes. The smartwatch will also come with Fitbit integration.

As per reports, the Google Pixel Watch will carry a starting price tag of $349.99 in the US and EUR 300 in the European market.
