Xiaomi finally confirmed that the 12T series is launching globally on October 5. The brand also revealed the upcoming lineup will arrive with 200-megapixel camera technology. Reports suggest only the Xiaomi 12T Pro will feature this new technology. Most of the details about the upcoming Xiaomi 12T series are already known. Here’s everything we know.

For the uninitiated, the Xiaomi 12T series will likely include two smartphones—the Xiaomi 12T and the Xiaomi 12T Pro. The Pro is said to come with some serious camera tech. It could be equipped with a triple rear camera setup that may include a Samsung HP1 200-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro unit.

While the vanilla Xiaomi 12T is said to feature only a 108-megapixel camera paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide and a 2-megapixel macro sensor.

Further, the Xiaomi 12T Pro may debut with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that offers a 1,220 x 2,712 pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Xiaomi 12T, on the other hand, could come with a 6.7-inch OLED display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. Under the hood, it is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC.

Reports suggest the 12T will arrive in two storage models—8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB. While the Pro phone may be available in 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage options. They are said to be offered in three colorways—Clear Blue, Cosmic Black, and Lunar Silver.
