Last year, Amazon entered the TV hardware game with the Fire TV Omni and the Fire TV 4-Series. They were launched as competent budget screens with some handy features. Now, the e-commerce giant has introduced two new Fire TV Omni QLED series models in 65-inch and 75-inch screen sizes. The new TVs offer better picture quality and features such as a new Adaptive Brightness tool and local dimming. Here are all the details.

As mentioned, Amazon has launched the new Fire TV Omni QLED Series 4K UHD TVs in two sizes: 65-inch and 75-inch. Both models have identical specifications. They come with a host of impressive features and support Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+, HDR, and HLG. In addition, the company has also packed a new feature called Adaptive Brightness. As the name suggests, this feature can automatically adjust the screen’s brightness based on the lighting in the room.

Further, it comes with a full array of local dimming in up to 96 zones to enhance the contrast ratio. Moreover, with its built-in presence sensors, the Omni QLED Series can detect when someone enters a room and switch to the beautiful, informative Ambient Experience. The screen can display photos, artwork, or Alexa widgets on the screen, such as the weather forecast and reminders.

It goes without saying that the Omni QLED Series supports various apps, including Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, and Apple TV. There are two integrated 12W speakers on the Fire TV, and it also allows you to wirelessly pair speakers via Bluetooth 5.0 or connect an external sound bar with the help of AV and eARC ports.

Price and availability

It comes in two sizes the 65-inch model of the Fire TV Omni QLED series is priced at $800. Whereas the 75-inch one is for $1,100. The two TVs are currently available for pre-order via Amazon.
