Samsung recently launched the Galaxy A04 smartphone, which is the successor to last year’s Galaxy A03. The brand followed that with the launch of the Galaxy A04s in India.

Samsung Galaxy A04 Core blackNow, another device in the lineup called the Galaxy A04e has been listed on NBTC and Indonesia Telecom certification databases, revealing some details about the smartphone.

The Galaxy A04 is listed as SM-A042FS/DS on the NBTC website. The phone’s name is also confirmed as Galaxy A04e in the listing. The DS in the model number represents Dual SIM capabilities, which will vary by region, as seen with previous Galaxy smartphones. According to the NBTC website, the device will support GSM, WCDMA, and LTE. There will be no 5G support because this is a low-cost device.

Furthermore, the Samsung Galaxy A04e with the model number SM-A042F has been listed on the Indonesia Telecom website. It has a slight difference in the model number. However, the Indonesia Telecom website confirms that this is indeed the Galaxy A04e. Aside from this information, no other specifications of the smartphone have been revealed.

Earlier, the Samsung Galaxy A04e was spotted on Geekbench with the SM-A042F model number. However, it was presumed to be the Galaxy A04 Core. Now that it’s clear this is not the case, we can expect the Galaxy A04e will come with a MediaTek Helio G35 SoC accompanied by a PowerVR Rogue GE8320 GPU. It will have at least 3GB of RAM and will boot Android 12 out of the box.
