BenQ has released a new portable projector running on Android TV 10 and with up to 160 minutes of battery life. The BenQ GV11 portable projector features the treVolo sound system and is capable of streaming content from streaming several streaming services. The BenQ GV11 has a lens that can rotate over a wide range of projection angles. It has an automatic vertical keystone that ensures the projection is perfect. The projector outputs 480p images with up to 200 ANSI Lumens. Its 1.3 throw ratio allows the device to project images up to 80 inches in width over a distance of 2.3 meters.

The treVolo sound system provides several audio modes and bass extensions. Furthermore, sound diffusers on the sides of the portable smart projector enhance the audio output. Apart from Chromecast, you can also use Apple AirPlay to cast content from an iOS device. The BenQ GV11 has an HDMI port as well as a USB-A port. The portable projector weighs about 1kg and operates with minimal noise at 23dBA. The projector is available for pre-order from the BenQ website at a discounted price of $279. The price of the portable smart projector will revert to its original price of $379 by November when it becomes available from e-commerce platforms.
