Razer has released its Soul Eater Speed Edition and Soul Eater X headsets in China. The two headsets are PlayStation-licensed and feature the Razer HyperSpeed Wireless technology for better audiovisual synchronization. The headsets also boast a 50mm driver unit.
The Soul Eater Speed Edition headset features the Razer TriForce 50mm drivers and is equipped with the Razer Hyperclear Smart Cardioid Microphone for environmental noise management. It also has powerful Razer Flowknit memory foam earmuffs, and Razer SmartSwitch technology which allows for seamless switching between GHz and Bluetooth.
The new Razer Soul Eater Speed Edition series is compatible with several platforms including PlayStation 5, computer, Mac, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices. Connectivity to these devices is via its 3.5mm plug. The Razer Soul Eater X headset also uses the TriForce 50mm drivers and the HyperClear Razer Smart Noise Canceling Cardioid Microphones Memory Foam earmuffs.
The Razer Soul Eater Speed edition headsets are available in China with the X model priced at 499 yuan (~$70), while the Razer Soul Eater Speed Edition headset retails for 999 yuan (~$140). There are no global availability details for the new Razer headsets at this time.
