A few months ago, the Red Magic brand from ZTE’s Nubia announced its first gaming monitor, dubbed Red Magic 4K Gaming Monitor, along with some other accessories and the flagship Red Magic 7S and 7S Pro smartphones.
Now, the company has officially started taking pre-orders for the Red Magic 4K Gaming Monitor. The monitor is priced at 4,999 yuan for the first sale, which is about $703 instead of its regular price of 5,499 yuan (~$773)
There’s also a Wireless Projection version of the monitor, which is priced at 6,499 yuan (~$914) for those who pre-order. The device will officially go on sale in the Chinese market on 17th October at 10:00 AM local time.
The Red Magic 4K Gaming Monitor comes with a 27-inch Mini-LED AUO 7.0 second-generation panel with 2,304 lamp beads and 1152 independent partitions along with 99% DC-P3 color gamut, 99% Adobe RGB color gamut, and color accuracy Delta E less than 1.
It has 1ms response time and supports AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync. The 4K Wireless Projection version is also claimed to be the first self-contained millimeter-wave wireless projection display, supporting lossless image quality transmission and low latency.
As for the interfaced, the monitor comes with an HDMI 2.1 along with a USB Type-C port which also supports a 90W reverse power supply. The monitor stand comes with support for height adjustment as well as rotation adjustment.
