Dell’s Alienware recently announced the Aurora R15 gaming PC with Intel 13th Gen CPUs and Nvidia GeForce RTX 40 series graphics cards. Along with the new PC, the company has also launched a new curved QD OLED monitor called the Alienware AW3423DWF and a keyboard, the TKL gaming keyboard. So, let’s take a look at their details.

Alienware AW3423DWF curved QD OLED monitor

The new Alienware AW3423DWF is essentially a cheaper alternative to the Alienware AW3423DW. The new monitor has a 34-inch QD-OLED panel with a resolution of 3440 x 1440 and a curvature of 1800R. It features a maximum refresh rate of 165Hz and supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro. According to the manufacturer, the device covers 99.3% of the DCI-P3 color space and has a peak brightness of 1,000 nits.

Dell has included a small joystick for controlling the OSD menu on the Alienware AW3423DWF. It should be noted that Dell has only provided DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 ports. As a result, external devices connected via HDMI are limited to a 100 Hz refresh rate; the monitor’s two DisplayPort connections provide the full 165 Hz refresh rate.

Alienware TKL Gaming Keyboard

Alienware also debuted its first-ever tenkeyless gaming keyboard, resulting in a more compact form factor ideal for users who don’t have a use for the number pad and would rather save space on their desks. The Alienware TKL Gaming Keyboard (AW920K) features mechanical Cherry MX Red switches and double-shot PBT keycaps for extended key label durability. It has AlienFX per-key RGB lighting that can be customized via the Alienware Command Center.

With Alienware’s software, the keys are completely customizable, and you can instantly disable the Windows key to stop unintentional interruptions while gaming. The keyboard risers provide three different height adjustments for added comfort, and the underside of the keyboard features integrated cable routing choices.

Price & availability

The Alienware AW3423DWF will be available later this autumn for US$1,099 and CAD$1,399.99. The TKL Gaming Keyboard will also debut later this year with a $150 price tag.
