It comes with a sleek design and will introduce a new Wellness mobile app for health and fitness tracking. The watch will go head-to-head with the newly launched Pixel Watch. The Gen 6 Wellness Edition has a 1.28-inch touchscreen display with AOD (always-on display) functionality and ambient light sensing. It looks similar to the other members of the series and is available in a sole 44mm case size. The watch is offered in three colors—black, silver, or rose gold.

It is powered by the Snapdragon 4100+ chipset, which is also found on the rest of the Gen 6 watches. The processor is paired with 8GB of storage and 1GB of RAM. It features a compass and an altimeter and supports on-wrist calls when paired with a compatible smartphone. The watch also comes with three new watch faces.

Further, the watch runs the latest Google Wear OS on a newly designed user interface. It also introduces an exclusive app for recording important health and fitness data. Aside from existing features of the Gen 6 lineup, the watch also sports SpO2, heart rate, sleep tracking, and automatic workout detection. It does not support Google Assistant but makes up for that with Amazon Alexa.

It comes with Bluetooth V5.0 and supports NFC. The Fossil Gen 6 Wellness Edition will be available for purchase on fossil.com or in official Fossil stores starting on October 17. It has been priced at $299.
