In late 2020, Samsung debuted one of a kind M series of smart monitors. Since then, the company has been releasing new models in the lineup annually. Now, LG has also entered this space.
The first-ever smart monitor from LG is officially called LG Smart Monitor 32SQ780S. Let’s take a look at what it has to offer.
LG Smart Monitor 32SQ780S Specifications
As the name suggests, the new LG Smart Monitor sports a 32-inch LCD screen with a 60Hz refresh rate. The panel has a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels (4K) and covers up to 90% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.
The monitor features 2 x HDMI (one of them is eARC compatible), 3 x USB Type-A, 1 x USB Type-C with 65W power output, and a Gigabit Ethernet port. It also has WiFi, Bluetooth, and 10W (2 x 5W) speakers.
Most importantly, the monitor boots webOS 22. Hence, it offers all the features available on LG smart TVs, like access to all the leading streaming platforms, ThinkQ Home, Magic Remote, and more. It even has support for Apple AirPlay 2.
Finally, the monitor comes with LG’s Ergo stand. Hence, it supports multiple adjustments, such as extend, retract, swivel, pivot, height, and tilt.
LG Smart Monitor 32SQ780S Price and Availability
The LG Smart Monitor 32SQ780S is priced at $499.99 in the US. It is already up for sale in the country via Amazon.
As of now, it’s not known if and when this product will make its way to other markets.
