Meizu has just launched a new product from its Lifeme brand, which is the company’s lifestyle brand. The new device in question is the Lifeme Smart Camera Pro, which has just been unveiled in China.

Talking about the design first, the new Lifeme Smart Camera Pro from Meizu is a small camera device that has a black cylidrical body with a clip to attach to the frame of the display. This body houses a 48 megapixel Sony IMX581 sensor that supports pixel binning, offers 107° wide angle view, and even supports 4K resolution recording at 30fps. Furthermore, this sensor is complimented by a high performance ISP chip that brings a customized 3A image processing algorithm for multi scene depth to offer improved capture quality.

The sensor itself also includes 6 professional optical lenses along with 42 layers of anti glare coating as well. The Smart Camera Pro also houses a 4 microphone array that can pickup audio from up to 7 meters away and achieves a true 360° audio capture. Furthermore, the device is also capable of identifying the sounds in the environment around the user and filter out unnecessary noise to obtain clearer audio from the user.

Notably, it even features built in single person tracking, multi person conference mode, panoramic mode, and object tracking mode as well, which can be accessed via specific gestures. The new Meizu Lifeme Smart Camera Pro has been launched in China and arrives with a price tag of just 699 Yuan or roughly 97 US Dollars.
