Recently, three Redmi phones were certified by the 3C authority in China. It is speculated that Redmi phones with 22101316UCP, 22101316UCP, and 22101316C belong to the Redmi Note 12 series. It appears that it may not take too long for it to go official, as the Note 12 series trio has now been found listed on JD.com.

The JD listings reveal that the Redmi Note 12 series will include the Redmi Note 12 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G. There is a listing for another model named the Redmi Note 12 Pro Extreme Edition (or Redmi Note 12 Pro Ultra). So, it appears that there could be a fourth model in the series.

Rumors are rife that the Redmi Note 12 Pro and Note 12 Pro+ will come equipped with the Dimensity 1080 chip, which went official earlier this month. As far as the Extreme Edition model is concerned, it is advisable to wait for further reports to see whether it really exists.

Past reports have claimed that the entire Redmi Note 12 series will come equipped with an AMOLED display. It is likely to feature a 50-megapixel main camera. Some unconfirmed information has claimed that the Note 12 Pro and Note 12 Pro+ may be rebranded as Xiaomi 12i series phones in the global market.
