HMD Global has just launched a new Nokia branded smartphone in the Indian market. It is the new Nokia G60 5G, which is built with a focus on sustainability and also comes with some notable specs. So here are all the details.

Talking about the design of the device first, the company placed an emphasis on durability in mind and built the device with a 100 percent recycled polycarbonate back panel. This makes it the most eco friendly G series smartphone from the brand. Furthermore, it also has a 60 percent recycled polycarbonate frame as well. The rear also features a camera module with a bump while the front has a water drop notch display that has a 6.58 inch panel that offers FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It also sports a Corning Gorilla Glas 5 for protection.

Under the hood, the Nokia G60 5G is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC thta is paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The handset is powered by a 4,500mAh battery pack that supports up to 20W fast charging. The primary focus of the device is to be sustainable and last for years. This is also complimented by the “3-3-2” promise, which means that the device will get three years of major OS upgrades, with monthly security updates, and a two year warranty as well.

For photography, the Nokia G60 5G offers a triple camera setup on the rear, which consists of a 50 megapixel primary sensor, a 5 megapixel ultra wide angle lens, and a 2 megapixel depth sensor as well. Meanwhile, the front houses an 8 megapixel selfie camera. Other features include, side mounted fingerprint scanner, Android 12 OS out of the box, IP52 water resistance, and more. The G60 5G is currently available in India for pre-booing and will go on sale starting from November 8 for a price tag of 29,999 INR in a White and Ice color option.
