Realme is gearing up to launch the Realme 10 series. The first model in the lineup will be debuting this week, followed by others next week.

Ahead of that, the company is teasing the arrival of these handsets. Today, the brand disclosed the number of Realme numbers series phones it has shipped so far.

Francis Wong, a well-known Realme executive on Twitter has shared interesting data. According to a tweet by him, over 50 million Realme Number series smartphones have been shipped globally.

For the uninitiated, the first Realme number series handset was the Realme 1, the brand’s first-ever smartphone. It was released in May 2018.

Since then, the company has launched multiple generations of number series almost every six months. In January 2022, the number of shipments stood at over 40 million. This means the firm managed to ship over 10 million units in the last 10 months.

The sales appear to have dipped due to the ongoing global economic slowdown. Also, the Realme number series is now more expensive than it was a few quarters ago. It is now targeted at a different audience with upgraded features and higher price tags.

As per the teasers for the Realme 10 series, the lineup may become even more expensive. Because the high-end model will come with a curved display and other premium features.
