Honor is all set to announce the Honor 80 series on Nov. 23 in China. Recently, the company confirmed the names of the chipset that will power the Honor 80 and the Honor 80 Pro. Today, it released a new poster to confirm the camera capabilities of what appears to be the Honor 80 Pro.
The below-shown poster confirms that the Honor 80 series will be equipped with a 160-megapixel primary camera. It will be a customized version of a 200-megapixel camera sensor, according to a previous leak by tipster Digital Chat Station. There is a possibility that it is a custom edition of the Samsung ISOCELL HPX 200-megapixel camera.

The poster also reveals that the Honor 80 series’ display will have a pill-shaped camera cutout. It is expected to house a pair of 50-megapixel selfie cameras. While there is no official confirmation yet, it appears that the Honor 80 Pro will have a 50-megapixel dual selfie camera setup and a 160-megapixel primary camera on the back.
The Honor 80 series is expected to feature three models: the Honor 80 SE, the Honor 80, and the Honor 80 Pro. The Chinese manufacturer has confirmed that the Honor 80 and its Pro variant will be powered by the Snapdragon 782G (unannounced) and the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipsets, respectively. The SE model could be equipped with the Dimensity 1080 SoC.
The Honor 80 SE and Honor 80 are expected to support 66W fast charging. The Pro model is likely to offer 100W charging. The entire series is likely to run on the Android 13 OS with the latest Magic UI 7.0 on top. The Nov. 23 launch event will also see the arrival of the Honor Magic Vs, the company’s second foldable smartphone.
