Vivo is the only official sponsor in the smartphone industry for the FIFA World Cup 2022, which will kick off in Qatar on Nov. 20. Through the upcoming mega sports event, Vivo aims to bring people closer together through the ongoing “Give it a Shot” campaign.

The campaign, which has been introduced in two waves, is all about capturing unforgettable moments by joining online / offline football challenges to connect with new people. Vivo FIFA World Cup 2022 sponsor

The first wave, which already ended on Nov. 16, allowed the 10 most creative participants to win a Vivo phone and an official FIFA football. The first wave was all about posting as many photos or videos as possible with Vivo or football elements on Instagram accounts using the #VivoGiveitaShot hashtag.

The second wave runs between Nov. 14 and Dec. 31. During this period, participants are required to share moments worth celebrating with special Vivo filters and the same hashtag on Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram.

Vivo will run another campaign with the hashtag “#vAreHereToShare” between Dec. 15 and Dec. 18 to drive engaging conversation about the semi-finals and final as the World Cup 2022 comes to an end.

To those who are unaware, Vivo has been a FIFA sponsor since 2017. So far, it has sponsored tournaments like the FIFA Confederations Cup 2017, the FIFA World Cup 2018 and the FIFA Arab Cup 2021. Vivo unveiled the Vivo X Fold+ foldable phone in September this year. Since then, it has been available exclusively in China. The X Fold+ is expected to be showcased during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
