Lenovo is rolling the drums to mark the 30th anniversary of the ThinkPad laptop with the unveiling of the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 10. The units of this commemorative laptop are limited and each unit has a commemorative serial number. The new product comes as part of celebrating the very successful ThinkPad series since it debuted in 1992.
The ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 10 30th Anniversary Edition is powered by the 12th Gen Intel Core vPro processors with excellent capabilities and features. The product itself comes with etchings and exquisite designs highlighting the history of the ThinkPad. It features smarter technology than its predecessors, as well as comes with recyclable packaging. The laptop has a woven carbon fiber top cover with a special retro-style logo and commemorative lettering. There are stickers, retro TrackPoint caps, and a collector’s booklet.
The packaging of the limited-edition ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 10 has 100% compostable packaging with bamboo and sugarcane fiber. The whole package is wrapped with a paper band having inscriptions of the history and trajectory of the ThinkPad since its inception.
