Microsoft launched the Surface Laptop 5 and Surface Pro 9 in multiple markets last month. The devices went up for pre-orders in India earlier this month with sales commencing today. Now, both laptops are also available for purchase in the country from multiple online and offline channels including Amazon, Reliance Digital, Croma, Vijay Sales, and select multi-brand retail stores. 

The Surface Laptop 5 carries a starting price tag of Rs 1,07,999 for the base variant and goes up to Rs 1,88,999 for the top-end model. Meanwhile, the Surface Pro 9 starts at Rs 1,05,999 with the top-end configuration costing Rs 2,69,999. The Redmondo-based company is offering a complimentary Surface Pro Keyboard (black) worth Rs. 14,999 on the Surface Pro 9 whereas the Surface Laptop 5 owners will receive a Surface Pop red Arc Mouse worth Rs. 7,499 each.

The Microsoft Surface Laptop 5 comes in 13.5 and 15-inch display options. It offers a resolution of 2,256 x 1,504 pixels, touch support, Surface Pen compatibility, and Dolby Vision IQ. The laptop features an HD front camera and support for Windows Hello. It is equipped with Omnisonic speakers with Dolby Atmos support and dual far-field microphones. Internally, the Surface Laptop 5 is powered by the 12th generation Core i7 processor paired with Intel Iris X graphics. It packs up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB storage.

As for the Microsoft Surface 9 Pro, it is a 2-in-1 convertible machine with a 13-inch touchscreen with a pixel resolution of 2,880 x 1,920 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is available in 12th generation Core i5 and Core i7 chipset options. The machine packs up to 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD. Other features of the Surface 9 Pro remain the same as the Surface Laptop 5.
