MIJIA Desktop Water Purifier Smart Edition Unveiled in China

Xiaomi has released the MIJIA Desktop Water Purifier Smart Edition in China. The new MIJIA water purifier comes with a durable filtration process that costs an average of 1 yuan per day.

The desktop water purifier Smart Edition comes with a 6.2L water tank consisting of two compartments. It has a 4.4L raw water tank and a 1.8L waste water compartment. Both compartments are completely separated from each other and this prevents wastewater backflow. The water purifier has built-in reverse osmosis and PPC composite filter elements. The double-core 6-stage deep filter system ensures bacteria, viruses, heavy metals, and other harmful materials are filtered out. The UV lamp in the gadget helps to effectively sterilize the water with an accuracy of up to 99.99%.

The MIJIA Desktop Water Purifier Smart Edition has a stainless steel thick film heating technology and can heat the water rapidly, thanks to a 2.1kW heating mechanism. It can fully heat the water to a boiling point within 3 seconds. There are several heating modes to take care of milk, coffee, and boiling water. You can also adjust the water purifier’s temperature mechanism via the MIJIA app. The model comes with a customized MIJIA smart thermos cup, which is impressive. The thermos cup can be bound to a person via the MIJIA app and enjoy customized drinking solutions.

The reverse osmosis filter element of the water purifier costs 249 yuan (~$35) and can provide all-year purification of your household water. The PPC composite filter element is priced at 109 yuan (~$15). The MIJIA Desktop Water Purifier is being retailed at a discounted price of 1,799 yuan (~$251). The original price of the water purifier is 1,999 yuan (~$276). The product will be officially released on December 10.
