Mini PCs have gained popularity as of late due to them being extremely portable and versatile in multiple use cases. On top of being portable and saving space, mini PCs have gotten quite powerful compared to a few years ago thanks to chip makers like Intel and AMD making breakthroughs with their CPUs when it comes to performance per watt and form factor.

GMK has now launched the GMK NucBox 10, a new mini PC powered by an AMD Ryzen 5000 series processor. To be exact, the NucBox 10 features an AMD Ryzen 7 5800U processor which has a total of 8 cores and 16 threads. Despite being a U-series (mobile) processor, it can boost up to 4.4GHz and maintain it with adequate cooling. Talking about cooling, the NucBox 10 has active cooling via a cooling fan that can expel heat through the air vents on the mini PC.

Although the system now only comes with 16 gigabytes of RAM pre-installed, there are two slots available for additional RAM. It is intended to install an M.2 2280 SSD that connects via PCIe 3.0. It comes with a pre-installed 512 GB SSD.

Two HDMI 2.0 ports are included in the 124.5 x 112 x 41-millimeter system, and a USB type C port can also produce image signals. Both Ethernet and WiFi can be used to connect to a network. There are several type A ports, a jack socket, and a memory card slot all available.

The model is currently available for pre-order, and delivery is planned for early December. If GMK is expected to pay for delivery as well as import taxes, the price quoted is $610.
