The latest effort in this move is the new Lavoie Electric. As per Wertheimer, Lavoie cofounder and CEO, McLaren aimed to create a vehicle that is “reliable, faultlessly functional, powerful, stylish, having state of the art technology.”

The company has been aggressively pushing for its clean energy plans in regards of personal mobility segment. This is best showcased by Richard Clarke (a former F1 engineer) and electric vehicle expert Eliott Wertheimer and Albert Nassar, who are leading the Lavoie project. Under this new series, the Series 1 folding electric scooter is the first model that is inspired by the suspension system of a world class race car. This is also shown in the chunky tires to further soak the bumps and uneven surfaces while riding the scooter.

Thanks to its magnesium frame, the e-scooter weighs just 36 pounds and can run for up to 31 miles on a single full charge, with a full charge taking just a couple of hours.
